Synopsis

The film LOOPED explores the impulse towards repetitive acts through a focus on a handful of individuals. A series of black and white vignettes reveal their private actions and behaviours accompanied by confessional insights into the driving forces at work. One person’s comforting routine is another’s compulsion to ritualise. What you see is a series of enactments of true pleasures and predicaments by actors lip-synching to the real-life descriptions of others who thereby preserve their anonymity.
